And as for innovation - Nintendo is kicking everyone else's buttocks. They're leading in innovation, they were first to have several features which are common today. They were first to have the analog stick on a home console, and were also first in rumble features, I believe.

Also, you PS3 lovers-Wii Haters can't go on about the Wiimote sucks thing anymore. For several reasons:

Most of the things posted here about the Wii mote hurting someone or breaking something wouldn't happen if you were wearing the wristband. Secondly, the Wii remote was then taken by SONY when they released the motion controllers for PS3.

It IS the job of developers to be able to exchange ideas and innovations, as well as learn from each other's mistakes and experiences, and I support this, so don't think I'm hating on SONY or Microsoft for taking ideas.

Also, sure, the quality of the hardware and software is also important to gameplay. Not good enough, and the game may not be good enough to be enjoyed by the player. But as Satoru Iwata said, content really is king.

Without the good ideas and stories inside Nintendo's game, what is there? The game itself makes up most of the experience, not the hardware or software.

This post is invalid for several reasons. First of all, the "BAD GRAPHICS" is a user made image done unprofessionally. The "GOOD GRAPHICS" is obviously retouched and done THQ, and where does it say this is an image representing nVidia?

But let me tell you something - nVidia sucks. I know plently of people perfectly satisfied with their ATI cards, especially when paired with AMD. However, nVidia, done with either AMD or Intel sucks.

My older computer's video card just "temporarily died," and needed replacement. However, I switched it over to an ATI card and it worked flawlessly. Not to mention that the temperatures inside the computer case were also a bit less.

And, let me tell you about my own personal experience. I have a simple, basic use computer with an AMD Sempron M100 clocked at 2GHz (a CPU made just to be an energy efficent solution for basic use computers, based on the k6 architecture and available up to 2.7GHz and 64-bit)and an ATI card (ATI/AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4200, another basic use component, @ 128MB VRAM and a 500MHz GPU), and 800MHz 3GB memory, which plays games much better than my mother's computer.

Her "gaming" computer runs Intel Core 2 Duo processors at 2.53GHz and nVidia cards @ 768MB VRAM and 920MHz GPU, with 1066MHz 6GB memory. In a test, running the same game, the same graphics settings, and OpenGL, a common video card "programming language" and standard, these are the results:

My basic use computer:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium

Settings:
Antialiasing: 4x

Detail vegetation, reflection detail, anistrophic filtering, texture detail: Medium

Audio: Hardware acceleration enabled, @ 44100 samples/s

The game runs fine, with very little stutter, audio lag, or frame skip. Very well playable.

Mother's "Gaming laptop" with Intel CPU and nVidia graphics:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium

Settings:
Antialiasing: 4x

Detail vegetation, reflection detail, anistrophic filtering, texture detail: Medium

Audio: Hardware acceleration enabled, @ 44100 samples/s

Almost unplayable. The audio skips a little at the beginning when showing the ESRB rating and software manufacturers. When actually playing the game, the audio stutters, there is a HUGE frameskip, as well as the effects seem very low-end, the graphics are flat, and the shader quality is tremendously low. The audio is really alright, however, the video updates every few seconds, whereas the developer wrote the game at exactly 40 frames per second.

You guys obviously dont get it.

First off we all know the Wii graphics sucks, ok so mentioning it is just bad argument in itself. Its like mentioning someones handicap. Its stupid.

But when it comes to the Wiimote. It was the first of its kind. It couldnt be that accurate. I have a wii and looking back it makes sense that they didnt make as accurate as the move. They didnt know what kind of games would be created with the wiimote. It is impossible to tell what will happen with an innovative product. And apparently as much as you guys like to hate it, it apparently has done well enough to get under its competitors skin and have them make their own versions of what the Wii has created.

The Kinect sucks so Im not even going to mention that trash. Good try 360 but missed the main idea of the concept. The Move however is a great take on the Wiimote. And obviously its better and more accurate. But as we all should know technology progresses quickly and gets cheaper. So they've had access to better technology and have watched the fruits of Nintendo's labor for guidance. So of course its better. It has no choice but to be better. Time is a very crucial entity when it comes to technology. Just like the Kinect is better than the Eye Toy (PS2). Its newer so of course.

But the Wii does have great games. Problem is people look at the graphics and are turned off. Red Steel started off mediocre then they put more work into it. So when they revealed the second it was amazing, even with Wii graphics it was still amazing and now with the Move Ubisoft is thinking about putting Red Steel 3 on the PS3.

The Wii has been kicking as when it comes to innovation. And just think. If the Wiimote is this inaccurate think about the next system. 360 and PS3 are going to be in trouble. Their not going to mess up on the graphics again and I'll tell you why. Nintendo has been trying to do 3D for over 20 years. And looking at how 3D is progressing, this is what they've been waiting for. So their going in on this one. And the Wiimote is going to be even better. The internet is going to be on point. So yea go ahead and hate.
